Scott County Schools were cancelled today and tomorrow due to illness.Never have I worked out or gone to a school where they had to cancel due to sickness. It's awesome as a teacher. I somehow avoided the flu that spread so rampantly through our school so I am enjoying two sick-free, snow-free days of school!
I got to eat lunch at Mi Casita (my favorite restaurant) with Mark today between his 2 jobs and loved it!
And let me tell you...I was the coolest teacher yesterday when I told my kids not to come to school until Monday.
